Y recognize (?)

Welcome to the BYU National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) Recognition Blog!

Y Recognize is more than just a name.  If you chance the inflection with which you say it, you form a valid question: Why recognize?

NRHH, an organization comprised of the top 1% of student leaders in the residence halls of its affiliates, is founded on four pillars: Leadership, Scholastics, Recognition, and Service.  So many amazing things that leaders and residents do too often go unnoticed, when instead they should be recognized and praised. NRHH strives to recognize the actions and achievements of residents who work hard to: be great students; give service; develop leadership; and recognize the efforts, accomplishments, and achievements of those around them.

NRHH is an international organization with several chapters located on many college and university campuses. There are various recognition resources and projects going on throughout the organization including: newsletters, emails, shout-outs, tweets, Of The Month (OTM) awards, etc... All of these efforts unite us in the cause of recognition.

As the Recognition Chair for BYU's NRHH Chapter, I feel it's important to recognize in the BYU Residence Halls!  The purpose of this blog is to highlight outstanding residents, programs, and achievements on BYU's campus that exemplify the four pillars of NRHH!

Enjoy!
